Scott Olsen is the Director of Statewide Department Assistance at the Office of the Comptroller of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Scott has been with the Comptroller’s Office for 14 years in a variety of roles and is passionate about transforming government, improving constituent services, and transparency. Scott currently manages the constituent facing functions of the Comptroller’s Office including the training, help desk, web, social media, and communication teams. The Office of the Comptroller is a uniquely independent and apolitical overseer of more than $60 billion in governmental and other funding sources and twelve million business transactions annually. The Comptroller oversees the Commonwealth’s major audit functions ensuring security, transparency, accountability, and service delivery across all branches of state government. The Office of the Comptroller promotes accountability, integrity, and clarity in Commonwealth business, fiscal, and administrative enterprises. Scott received a degree in Communications from Rivier University.
